Boozing make you eat more than you wish and that too no nutritional food. Boozing also causes loss of water and dehydration from body, which takes away the entire essential mineral with it. Minerals like potassium, zinc, calcium, magnesium which are required for healthy body and good immune system. Many of the drinkers are seen to drink on empty stomach, the reason behind that is very common that it helps to take more intake of drink.
Also, on empty stomach the alcohol molecules are dispersed very fastly and can spread over to brain and liver parts. On full stomach you would not be able to drink as much as you want. Also during drinking Alcohol, the snacks like potato wedges, peanut salad or it may be juice or cold drink mixed with drink, add on more calories. All these snacks has high salt content which makes you thirsty and you have more and more drink. It is advisable that you should have a glass of water between two drinks.
