Try These Stretches for Lower Back Pain Relief
Earlier this issue (Back Pain) was only observed in old age people, but now young generation is also facing this trouble. Despite of taking pills or medications, Yoga is the best option to overcome the problem. Try these yoga or stretching exercises to solve your lower back pain problem:
Two Knee Twist
To do this yoga, lie down on the floor in straight position. Bring out your arms to make a ‘T’, now going towards right bend both of your knees into chest. Try to keep your arms firmly on the floor. Hold this position for 1-2 minutes and then repeat for another side.
Sphinx
To do this yoga, lie down on the floor on your stomach; now pull yourself up from the waist by resting on your forearms. Try to keep your elbows under your shoulder, now try to stretch your body as much you can. This will make you feel sensation in your lower back but stick with the position and breathe through holding for 1-3 minutes.
Supine Hamstring Stretch
Lie down on your back; now bend your right knee towards chest. Now keep a rolled up towel over your foot and below your fingers. Now start straightening your leg towards the ceiling. Hold this position for 3-5 minutes and then repeat same with the left leg.
Thread the Needle
To do this yoga, lie down on the floor by resting your back. Now bend both the knees making a 90 degree angle. Now bend your left leg in the way to rest left ankle over your right thigh. Now prevent your right leg in going backward using both of your hands. Stretch all your body parts by sticking to the same position. Hold for 2-3 minutes and then repeat it for other leg.
Ushtrasana
To do this yoga, bend both of your legs and sit on your toes (Vajrasana Position), now slightly lean your upper body backwards resting on your elbows and lay your head down on the floor. Slowly lift your pelvis up and press your body above your waist. Hold this posture for 5 seconds and then come back on starting position.
